Want to ride your motorcycle on a hot sunny day? Use the following tips to stay cool and comfortable.

1. Ride During Cooler Times of the Day
If possible, avoid riding during the hottest hours of the day. Instead, aim for the early morning or late evening. The heat will be much less intense and the motorcycle ride will be much more comfortable!
2. Dress for the Heat
Even in hot weather, it's crucial that you wear the proper safety gear. But there are options that are better suited for hot days.
For example:
- Focus on clothing with light colors since dark colors will absorb more heat.
- Choose materials that are breathable or offer ventilation.
- Pick materials that are moisture-wicking to help prevent sweat buildup.
3. Stay Hydrated
While riding in hot weather, it's especially important to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before and during your motorcycle ride. You can also get sports drinks to help replace electrolytes lost through sweat.
4. Take Breaks Often
Motorcycle riding in hot weather is more physically demanding, so you will want to take more frequent breaks. Find a shady spot to take a break and cool off for a few minutes. This will help you avoid heat exhaustion.
